Avoid Drinking Caffeine
Caffeine can cause jittery eyes and restlessness, making it difficult to apply the lashes effectively. Jittery eyes during a lash service may affect the application, causing poor retention.

Avoid Eye Makeup
Especially mascara and eyeliner.
Note that arriving with makeup on may affect the retention of the lash extensions or lash lift.

Contact Lenses
Contacts should be removed during lash appointments. They can be worn immediately before and after, just not during.
Please bring your case with you, if applicable.

Maintenance Fills Policy
For lash extension maintenance fills, a minimum 40% of lashes must remain to be considered a fill. Any less can result in a full set price.
Foreign Fills
Please note that we do not offer fills for lashes done outside of KALOLOGY. Instead, a removal and full set is done & charged accordingly. Please book the appointment as a full set + removal to ensure the appropriate appointment time is scheduled.

Note that it’s recommended to avoid getting the brows wet for the first 24 hours after the appointment.

3 Weeks Before You Come
Avoid trimming the brows or grooming the area
It is highly recommended to stop using any products around the brows containing the following:
- AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid)
- Glycolic products
- RetinA, Renova
- Accutane, acne medications or any skin-thinning products -
Please Reschedule If
If you are actively experiencing any of the following in the brow area:
- Sunburn
- Ultra-sensitive skin
- Skin flare-ups
- Wounds or active acne❗️Note that brow lamination cannot be done if you are experiencing any of the above. Coming to your appointment with any the above around your brows will result in an appointment cancellation and cancellation fees will be applied.

Hair Length
Hair in the treatment area should be about 2 weeks since your last shave or over 4 weeks since the last sugaring/wax appointment

Arrive with the treatment area freshly cleaned, without any products:
- No deodorant
- No lotion
- No oils

Refrain from using any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the eyebrow area for 2 weeks before and after procedureAvoid sun & tanning as this can alter your results

Avoid eyebrow grooming (waxing, threading, plucking, tinting)
Avoid/discontinue consuming Omega-3 or fish oils. These supplements are a blood thinner & may cause skin sensitivity
Avoid excessive sun exposure

48 Hours Prior
Avoid consuming alcohol. Alcohol will increase your level of sensitivity to pain regardless of numbing application. Alcohol can also increase likelihood of swelling post-procedure.Avoid caffeine, including coffee, tea, energy drinks and pre-workout drinks as they can cause or increase bleeding.
24 Hours Prior
Avoid strenuous exerciseAvoid blood-thinning medications as blood thinners may cause skin to be hypersensitive, bleeding or bruise easily
Avoid ibuprofen (Advil), aspirin, niacin (Vitamin B3) and Vitamin E as these supplements may cause bleeding & sensitivity to skin
Note please consult your physician before discontinuing any prescribed medications

Things To Note
It is common to feel more sensitive during your menstrual cycle
It is highly recommended to eat a full meal before the appointment to ensure blood sugar levels stay balanced
If applicable, you must be off Accutane for at least 1 year prior to procedure
